Institute of Internal Communication Awards

Last Friday, 23 September 2016, Gatehouse attended the Institute of Internal Communication Awards ceremony where we were honoured to have been shortlisted for not one, not two, but three awards!

The categories in which we were shortlisted were:

Best Operational Communication for our work with Britvic

Best Redesign for our work with Britvic

Best Illustration / Graphic / Infographic / Conceptual Image for our work with Virgin Trains

And the winner is…

We are happy to have gone home with two of the three awards – Best Operational Communication and Best Illustration / Graphic / Infographic / Conceptual Image.

“So refreshing to see the rigour and consultation / collaboration with the client and with staff at Virgin Trains to meet the goals and objectives of this programme, which have been clearly set out and measured in terms of outcomes in staff engagement.” – Judge’s comment

A glimpse at our award-winning Operational Communication work

Our work with Britvic aimed to simplify a complex reward system and ensure employees feel valued. While Britvic offers a very strong reward package, they found that their employees didn’t quite understand or appreciate all of the elements that make up the total reward package.

We stepped in to deliver a more visually stimulating and simplified approach to passing on this information.

“Well-conceived, executed with flair, and with outcomes that exceeded already high expectations, this campaign for Britvic shows how internal communication can put cleverness, fizz and colour into HR operations.” – Judge’s comment

We’ll be back!

We are very proud to have been awarded for our work and are eager to start some exciting new projects to be considered next year!
